Wilhelm Bermpohl produzierte ab 1899 die bekannte Dreifarbenkamera, und in der Folge diverse Spezialkameras.
Die Firma bestand auch nach dem
II. Weltkrieg unter diesem Namen weiter und stellte bis 1956 Fachkameras her.

Wilhelm Bermpohl produced from 1899 the famous "Three Color Camera" and afterwards a number of special cameras for different purposes. After WW II the company continued to produce special cameras under the Bermpohl name until 1956.
